The leather patch is engraved and then put onto the hat with a strong adhesive. These hats are to be SPOT cleaned only, DO NOT put these in a washing machine or dryer. Hats are not iron safe either. The hats are all hand made making them have all minor differences, each leather patch will have different variations.
